Awards and commendations

The Albinism Konnect Music Band, an advocacy project for 2023 was nominated for the Best New Comer of their album dubbed”One People”. The Noble Hands Trust under the program Albinism Konnect embarked on a music project to improve the livelihoods of people with albinism and raise awareness for the recognition of their rights in Zimbabwe. The music project was initiated after the realisation that there are many talented young people with albinism in Zimbabwe, who fail to rise due to poverty and the rough arts terrain in the country. The project hopes to create role models from the community to inspire other people with albinism to pursue their dreams.
